2. GDPR Compliance
We are committed to full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Our approach to data protection includes:
- Privacy by design and by default: data protection is built into our services and processes from the outset, not added as an afterthought
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs): we maintain signed DPAs with all third-party processors that handle personal data on our behalf

As a digital marketing agency, we adhere to the following advertising standards and codes of conduct:
- Nederlandse Reclame Code (Dutch Advertising Code): administered by the Stichting Reclame Code, we ensure all advertising content is truthful, verifiable, and not misleading
- Sponsored content disclosure: all paid, sponsored, or promotional content is clearly labelled as such in compliance with Dutch and EU transparency requirements
- Platform advertising policies:campaigns we manage on platforms such as Meta and Google comply with each platform's advertising policies
- Travel industry standards: marketing for travel and vacation clients complies with applicable ANVR guidelines and the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302) disclosure requirements where relevant
5. Email Marketing Compliance
Our email marketing practices comply with Article 11.7 of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet, which implements the ePrivacy Directive for electronic communications:
- Prior opt-in consent: we only send marketing emails to recipients who have given explicit, informed consent
- Clear unsubscribe mechanism: every marketing email includes a prominent, functional unsubscribe link
- Sender identification: all communications clearly identify Digitech Media as the sender with valid contact information
- No purchased lists: we never purchase or use third-party email lists for marketing purposes
6. Intellectual Property & Content
We take intellectual property rights seriously in all content we produce:
- Licensed media: all stock imagery, video, and audio used in our work is properly licensed from reputable providers
- Third-party IP: we respect the intellectual property rights of others and do not use copyrighted material without appropriate permission or licence
- Client ownership: content ownership and usage rights are governed by individual service agreements with each client
- AI-assisted content: where AI tools are used in content production, we maintain human editorial oversight and ensure all output meets our quality and accuracy standards
7. Accessibility Commitment
We are committed to making our website and digital services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities:
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA: we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA for this website
- European Accessibility Act: we are aware of the requirements of Directive 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) and are working to ensure our digital services meet the applicable standards

- Responsible messaging: we ensure marketing messages do not perpetuate harmful stereotypes or exclude underrepresented groups
9. Client Data Responsibilities
Beyond personal data (covered in our Privacy Policy), we take the following measures to protect client business data:
- Confidentiality: all client business information, strategies, and performance data are treated as confidential
- Secure credential handling: client ad account credentials and platform access tokens are stored securely and accessed only by authorised team members
- Access control: we use role-based access to ensure client data is only accessible to team members who need it for their work
- Data return and deletion: upon contract termination, we return all client data and delete our copies within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law
10. Sustainability & Responsible Marketing
We are committed to honest and responsible environmental communication:
- No greenwashing: we do not make or help clients make misleading environmental claims in marketing materials
- EU Green Claims Directive: we follow the principles of the proposed EU Green Claims Directive, ensuring any sustainability claims are specific, substantiated, and verifiable
- Travel industry responsibility: for travel and tourism clients, we ensure environmental and sustainability claims accurately reflect the services offered
